In order to guarantee the association’s professional standard and speed up of the establishment of a professional association, better service to the community as well as raising the professional image of TCM Doctors and Acupuncturists. The Canadian Association of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (CAATCM) Committee has decided:

All CAATCM members should be taken the Ontario Acupuncture Exams in various stage and group.
New members are required to pass the Ontario Acupuncture Exams within a year
For all those who failed, membership will be discontinued the next year.
Ontario Acupuncture Exam is delivered by Ontario Acupuncture Examination Committee (OAEC); the examination includes both written and clinical section.

OAEC has determined the first stage of examinees is those members who registered after Jan 1st, 2008 and the newly registered members:

Examination Time: May 8, 2010, 9am—12pm
Place of Examination: Galbraith Building,
35 St. George Street, Toronto ON. M5S 1A4
Registration Time: Prior to March 15, 2010
Examination Fee: $450 (Extra10% after March 15, 2010)
Requirement: Please refer to OAEC website (www.oaecexam.com)
