[ Member Type ]
- Honorary Member
On the recommendation of the Board of Directors, Honorary Membership
will be awarded to any person other than an Ordinary Member who
has made a substantial contribution to the promotion and advancement
of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture
- Ordinary Member
Ordinary membership will be granted to those who meet any of the
following requirements:
- Graduates
in TCM of a recognized university with more than 5 years of clinical
experience, or
- TCM practitioners who are knowledgeable in the theories and
applications of TCM and have more than 5 years of clinical experience,
or
- Acupuncture practitioners who are knowledgeable in the basic
theories and applications of TCM, with 5 or more years of clinical
experience, or have passed the Ontario Acupuncture Examination
- Student Member
Student membership will be granted to those who are taking TCM and
acupuncture courses at a recognized TCM college

]
Members will enjoy the following privileges:
- Participation at academic seminars and social functions sponsored
by the Association
- Professional Liability Insurance premium discounts and other benefits
- Right to address the Board of Directors regarding Association
activities
- The right to nominate, to vote, and if elected, to hold office
[ Member Obligations
]
Members will be obliged to:
- Promote and protect the reputation of CAATCM
- Abide by the code of ethics, objectives and by-laws of CAATCM
- Participate in all Association functions
- Remit annual membership fee on time
[ Membership Fee ]
The Application processing fee for new member is $15.00
which is non-refundable.
First year membership fee is $160.00.
Annual membership renewal fee is $80.00 and is due on January
1st of every year.
[ Executives ]
The Chairman and the President of the Association will
be elected by members at the General Membership Meeting. The term
of office will be for 5 year. Members in good standing will be eligible
for election.
The Board of Directors, consisting of six (6) members, will be nominated
by the Chairman and the President.

- Copies of academic and clinical credentials
- Processing fee: $15.00 First year membership fee: $160.00
- You will be notified in due course if your application has been accepted
- Should your application be declined, the membership fee will be refunded to you
